Scott became hooked on the business as soon as he began working summers in the warehouse in middle school. His first job was to sweep the warehouse floors once the trucks had left for the days’ routes. He came on full time with the company in 1980, after graduating from The University of Alabama. He enjoys the competitive spirit of the industry, the variety of customers that we serve and the camaraderie within the company. He is an avid fan of the Crimson Tide.
Mike joined the team in 2015 after 28 years with Anheuser-Busch. He held many positions, including Director of Sales and Marketing in Louisville, KY, Senior Director of Oklahoma, and State Sales Director covering the states of Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Mike played baseball at Bellarmine College and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
Josh joined the team in 2019 and brings over 15 years of beverage alcohol experience. He has held several positions managing National Chains with Anheuser-Busch and Southern Wine and Spirits. Josh is a graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business and has a MBA from Indiana State University. Josh and his wife Courtney have 3 kids Landon, Blake and Mason.
Eric Gibbons, SPHR began work with Ajax Turner Company in 1999. Eric currently serves as the Human Resources Director. He is a graduate of the Tennessee Tech University College of Business and attained his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2007. Eric has been privileged to serve as an Advisory Board Member for the Anheuser-Busch University training program for four years.
Kyle joined the team in 2003 and has held various positions throughout the company. His passion for the beer industry lead him to be our Vice President of Brands and Marketing. He continues to expand our palates as well as our portfolio. Kyle holds a BA in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Steven joined Ajax Turner in 2021 as the company’s chief financial officer after a decade long career with Carr, Riggs and Ingram, LLC, a top 20 certified public accounting firm. Steven rose through the ranks at Carr, Riggs and Ingram, LLC starting as an intern in 2010 and making partner in the firm in 2019 where he was responsible for maintaining client relationships, engagement, execution, management, and business development efforts. Steven is a licensed CPA and holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Steven’s public accounting background primarily consists of providing assurance services, business valuation services, CFO and controllership outsourcing services, and consulting services for family held and private equity backed middle market companies. Steven and his wife Amanda live in Smyrna, Tennessee with their three kids.
Will has worked in Sales, Service, and Operations since coming to work fulltime at Ajax Turner Company in 2012. He graduated from the University of the South in 2011 and later earned an MBA from Wake Forest in 2015. He is proud to sell strong brands to great customers with fun and hard-working people. Will is a Nashville native who loves golf and would like to see the Titans and Predators both win championships one day
Jeff joined the company in 1997 and brings 28 years of experience in the beverage industry, including both On and Off Premise. He has 15 years of experience with Sports & Music venues as well as outdoor festivals and events. He has been involved in many facets of the the company throughout his years which has led him to his current position as the On Premise Sales Director.
Jason joined Ajax Turner in 2019, his beverage career started in 2011 after graduating college. He held several roles at Anheuser-Busch, his latest as Senior District Manager covering sales & marketing for East Tennessee. He works extensively with our Anheuser-Busch sales & marketing programs along with Sports & Music venue sponsorships. Jason holds a Finance degree from The University of Mississippi.
Justin joined Ajax Turner in 2010, and has experience in managing logistics, operations, and distribution facilities. Justin earned his degree from the University of Tennessee in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. He began managing the night warehouse, and has overseen purchasing, inventory management, and all operations functions. Justin is currently responsible for managing all warehouse operations and facility maintenance.
Edward rejoined the team in 2018 but has served our company in many different capacities since the age of 14 before being named our NA Portfolio Manager in 2021. Edward holds a double major in International Business and Chinese from Bryant University as well as an MBA from Belmont University where he also received his Six Sigma Black Belt training.
Nicole joined the team in 2007, after attending Belmont and MTSU where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She’s spent her entire professional career working for Ajax Turner and has held various positions ranging from the Contemporary Marketing Team, Customer Service, Sales Representative and her current position: Director of Hospitality. Nicole serves the company as a nonprofit liaison, manages our conference center, and organizes many of our internal events.
